All in our office are quite astounded that the Prince would let himself into such a … position.

There is no confirmation yet that the photos are of Prince Harry’s crown jewels.

We don’t expect the British monarchy - desperate to keep its image as clean as possible - to make an official statement, unless it is to deny the pictures are of the young Prince Albert, sorry, Harry.

Coming off the back of a successful London Olympics, an heir to the throne seeking some R&R should probably have disrobed somewhere with less TMZ.

Nuala has covered a fair bit of ground this week as our stand-in weather presenter. B

But this morning, climbing our nation’s most famous bridge accompanied by a score of Elvis impersonators, was her grandest achievement.

Holding and strumming a guitar at that height above traffic seems dangerous, so special precautions had to be taken.

Plus, we’re all grateful that Nuala was brave enough to don the shades and the wig as we think she looked just the part.

You won’t believe what she’s doing tomorrow.

“We have consistently made our position clear in our discussions with the government of Ecuador. The UK has a legal obligation to extradite Mr Assange to Sweden to face questioning over allegations of sexual offences and we remain determined to fulfil this obligation.

“Throughout this process we have drawn the government of Ecuador’s attention to relevant provisions of our law including the extensive human rights safeguards in our extradition procedures, and the legal status of diplomatic premises in the UK. It is only right that we give Ecuador the full the picture.

“We have from the outset sought a mutually agreed diplomatic solution with Ecuador and we continue to do so.”
